Office spinoff????

"Details of The Office spinoff, from the same creative team, are being kept under wraps, but it will include some cast members, premiere after the Super Bowl, and then follow The Office on Thursdays in February. In that same slot, Saturday Night Live plans for live specials in October with sketches mocking the presidential campaigns."

What do we think? Good idea? Bad idea? Same writers so I don't doubt it will be funny.... but why mess up a good thing?

Hmm a spinoff?? I don't really agree with that. It's good "as is"...

I have only seen a couple of spin-offs actually work out: Frasier (from Cheers) and The Old Christine (from Seinfeld). Both did well, but never better than the original. It's risky! Besides, what makes the show funny is the WHOLE group of actors. Unless they go a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT angle on this, I say NO WAY on the spin-off. This can be the kiss of death for the writers and maybe even the show!

Definitely, although I believe in the ability of the writers to compile a funny show, I doubt it can reach the level of the office. Why not just focus on the current show?

NO SPINOFF!!!
They will ruin the show. It's like those producers that make #2, #3 of those box office hits, they tend to ruin the original ones!I agree with Fabiana....it would be the kiss of death.
